An Update and Information on NASTT Networking & Communication Platforms
It’s hard to summarize the impact COVID-19 pandemic has had on the world and how, in just a few short weeks, we can go from looking forward to a projected record turnout at the world’s largest trenchless event – NASTT’s No-Dig Show – to making sure our amazing essential services keep operating and that we are protecting each other.
In these times the role of a not-for profit association changes dramatically. From working to promote our industry proactively we’ve also had to quickly adapt to provide support for our members, exhibitors and sponsors during rapidly changing circumstances. Currently we are providing alternative platforms to enable you to communicate and network with trenchless colleagues and friends while wait out the daily changes in this situation.
The NASTT Board of Directors and Staff are determined, if possible, safe, and appropriate to deliver, an industry leading event in our 30th year. We are working to provide details as soon as a national recovery allows us to announce the information. We anticipate that it will be at the end of April before we have additional news on the direction we need to take.
We are also exploring options with our regional events as well as virtual experiences to provide a wide range of learning and networking opportunities for members and attendees.
As we put these events into place please use our social media platforms and visit your Talk Trenchless online community at talk-trenchless.nastt.org where there are various group discussions and forums with networking opportunities to allow you to keep in contact. We have set up a specific COVID-19 Resource Center with links to various supporting organizations giving helpful information and advice. We encourage members to post their recommendations to share experiences and assist others. In addition, we are offering free posting and searching on our Industry Job Board link page.
We continue to share industry stories and news through our weekly e-newsletter and our websites, nastt.org and nodigshow.com, are continually updated with information. You can also contact us directly at email@example.com.
Trenchless technology globally is a special industry to be involved in. We are used to working at the cutting edge and reacting to circumstances outside of our control. We are proud to be your association through these times as we support each other.

Hotel Reservations Update:
We’d like to share some good news despite the recent disappointing announcement of the postponement of the 2020 NASTT No-Dig Show in Denver, Colorado due to the COVID-19 crisis. We’ve been working closely with the Hyatt Regency Denver at the Colorado Convention Center and have been able to secure full refunds on previously non-refundable deposits on reservations that were made through our official No-Dig Show room block. The Hyatt Regency is currently processing the refunds and has requested a 15-30 day period in order to do so. Any rooms booked at the Hyatt House Denver Downtown or Hyatt Place Denver Downtown through the official room block will be cancelled as well. These properties did not collect a deposit, so no refunds are necessary.
We’d like to thank the Hyatt Regency as well as the Hyatt House and Hyatt Place for working quickly to reverse any charges and reservations. We’d also like to thank our attendees, exhibitors and sponsors for their patience and support during this time, as we work to re-imagine the 2020 NASTT No-Dig Show. We will continue to communicate additional updates on our plans as things evolve. As soon as updates are available they will be posted.
NASTT No-Dig Show Information Related to COVID-19 Coronavirus
Due to the COVID-19 response situation going on throughout the United States and Canada, NASTT must unfortunately announce the postponement of the 2020 NASTT No-Dig Show, originally scheduled for April 5-9 in Denver, Colorado.
Despite our best efforts to keep things running as scheduled, the Colorado Convention Center has been instructed to cancel all events through mid-April, which unfortunately includes our planned conference. Further, space for our conference to be held later this year at the Denver Convention Center is not currently available. For these reasons we are beginning to look at alternatives to bring you a memorable and valuable trenchless event, in this, our 30th year of trenchless education.
“Our community has experienced significant impacts over the past few weeks which have escalated in the last 72 hours and include corporate travels bans, government travel bans, venues closing, and public events and gatherings postponed in order to protect the health and wellness of our citizens.
We are confident that we will be able to switch gears and make alternate arrangements for the 2020 NASTT No-Dig Show and we look forward to communicating these changes to you in the coming days and weeks.”
– Craig Vandaelle, Chair NASTT Board of Directors
