No-Dig Kick-off Breakfast & Entertainment

All full conference attendees are invited to kick-off the No-Dig 2008 with fantastic food and special entertainment during this crowd-pleasing event. The highlights of the breakfast are the presentation of the prestigious Trenchless Technology Person of the Year award and the 2007 Outstanding Papers in Rehabilitation and New Installation special awards.

We are happy to have entertainer, comedian, and impressionist Jim Gossett join us at the No-Dig 2008 Kick-off Breakfast. Jim’s talents have been featured on Comedy Central, America’s Funniest People, and the Cartoon Network. He has opened for many entertainment greats including Barbara Mandrell, Tim Allen and Jay Leno. When Jim Gossett hits the stage, you never know who’ll turn up… President George W. Bush, Larry King, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Tom Brokow, Former President Bill Clinton, Willie Nelson, Jay Leno … or dozens of others!


NASTT 7th Annual Educational Fund Auction

Since 2001, the NASTT Annual Educational Fund Auction has become one of the most popular events at the No-Dig Show - and a successful fundraiser. The auctions have contributed over $160,000 to the Educational Fund for support of student chapters, target research, training modules and other student activities. NASTT No-Dig Gala Awards Dinner

Join us at the Pre-Gala Awards reception and learn a true Texas tradition- trick roping! Experts will be on hand to amaze you with their roping powers. After the trick roping demonstration, meet the best and brightest of the trenchless industry at the Gala Awards Dinner. The winners, runner-ups and honorable mentions of the Trenchless Technology Projects of the Year in Rehabilitation and new Installation are recognized in a special awards ceremony. Afterward, satisfy your appetite with great food and enjoy live entertainment by Emerald City. Emerald City, one of the most popular bands in Dallas, was created to appeal to a large and musically diverse audience. Their musical styles range from Frank Sinatra to Earth, Wind and Fire, to the hits of today. When they perform, the audience becomes a part of the show. They get the crowd going and create a party atmosphere that is electrifying and infectious.

No-Dig Closing Luncheon & Keynote Address

Say your farewell to your new No-Dig friends during this closing event of No-Dig 2008, and help us kick off No-Dig 2009 in Toronto, Canada. This event is open to all full conference attendees.

Mayor Wallace to Speak at Closing Luncheon:
Mayor David Wallace of Sugar Land, Texas will speak at the No-Dig Closing Luncheon on Wednesday, April 30, 2008. Mayor Wallace is presently serving his third term as Mayor of Sugar Land. Previously, the Mayor served on the Sugar Land City Council representing Single Member District 4. He serves as a trustee member on the executive committee of the U.S. Conference of Mayors and has also served as the co-chairman of the Mayors Water Council. On a more local level Mayor Wallace serves on the board of directors for the Texas Economic Development Corporation and a member of the Texas Municipal League. Mayor Wallace will share his experiences with Sugar Land’s building boom and the increased burden on the city’s water system.
