Dear Trenchless Colleagues,
By the time you read this, No-Dig will be rapidly approaching as we countdown less than three months to the trenchless event of the year! The volunteer members of the Program Committee have been working diligently to offer you an educational, yet fun program with plenty of opportunities for networking, industry awards and recognition, and entertaining events while you’re in Nashville.
Kick-off the conference with our Monday morning breakfast where you can expect fantastic food and the comedic entertainment of Tim Gabrielson. He will be sure to please the No-Dig crowd and set the stage for a great conference. Special awards will be presented to the Trenchless Technology Person and Projects of the Year, NASTT 2011 Outstanding Papers in Rehabilitation and New Installation along with the presentation of the Michael E. Argent Memorial Scholarships to five of our deserving students.
On Monday evening, join us for NASTT’s fundraising social event of the year – the Educational Fund Auction and Reception! New to this year’s Auction, we invite you to don your best country western duds for a great time while bidding on amazing items. So throw on your spurs and cowboy hats, and mosey on down for some good-tasting grub. Fun prizes will be awarded for “best costume”, and for those who dare not dress up you’ll have to answer to the NASTT sheriff!
Meet the best and brightest of the trenchless industry at Tuesday evening’s Gala Awards Dinner, where NASTT will honor those trenchless professionals inducted into the inaugural Trenchless Technology Hall of Fame. NASTT will also formally recognize the recipients of the Chairman’s Award for Outstanding Lifetime Service, the Trent Ralston Award for Young Trenchless Achievement and the winners of the Joseph L. Abbott, Jr. Innovative Product Awards. Afterward, satisfy your appetite with great food and enjoy live entertainment and dancing.
At Wednesday’s Closing Luncheon NASTT will introduce the location of No-Dig 2013 in Sacramento and announce the location for 2015. We will draw the winning ticket of the “Here Today, Gone to Maui” Raffle. The winner will receive a 7-day Hawaiian vacation with roundtrip airfare for two, airport transfers and accommodations at The Whaler.
