Funding Educational Excellence in the Trenchless Technology Industry
Don’t miss NASTT’s must-attend event – the annual Educational Fund Auction and Reception – on the evening of Monday, May 3 at the No-Dig Show in Schaumburg. The Auction is a wonderful way to support the students while having a great time bidding on amazing items.
Since its inception in 2002, the Auction has raised over $312,000 and directed those funds exclusively toward educational activities offered by NASTT.
Thanks to the generous support of people like you, the NASTT Educational Fund has been able to enhance the educational experience for its student members by providing:
- Financial support for NASTT’s existing12 student chapters across North America
- Financial support for new student chapters
- Annual scholarships
- The development of NASTT’s good practices training courses
- Research initiatives
- Prize money for No-Dig student competitions
- Room accommodations for student members attending the No-Dig Show
- And much more!
To continue meeting the needs of our students, we need your help! Get involved and make an investment in the future of our industry by donating items and/or services to the Auction or by sponsoring this well-attended event. This may be the single best investment you make!

The NASTT 20th Anniversary - Michael E. Argent Memorial Scholarship Program
NASTT is pleased to announce a new scholarship program established in the memory of Michael E. Argent, who is recognized as one of the industry’s true visionaries and a motivating force behind the growth of trenchless technology in the United States. In 1990, Michael was one of five persons who founded and established NASTT. Through this scholarship established in his memory, it is hoped that his contributions to the trenchless industry will be honored and remembered.
NASTT is awarding five scholarships in the amount of $5,000 each to eligible students who are members in good standing of a current student chapter of NASTT. The applicants must be enrolled as a full-time student in an accredited college, university or trade school for the 2009-2010 academic school year.
Winning applicants must attend the NASTT No-Dig Show 2010 in Schaumburg to be eligible to receive the scholarship award. Award payments to the winning applicants will be sent directly to the appropriate educational institution financial aid offices.
